Wonderful vase by sculptor Raphael Charles Peyre. Signed on base R. Peyre made in France. The vase is made of medal with a bronzed patina.It has some finish wear. Depicts a Art Nouveau scene of a woman in an patch of iris flowers. Measures 10" to the top of the handle. Benezit listing on page 270. Born Paris June 1 1872 Died 1949

English under domed hummingbird sculpture

Fantastic antique under glass domed hummingbird sculpture. this sculpture contains approximately 30 birds mostly "hummingbirds" that were probably tropical because their colors are so bright. This dome was brought from England 30 years ago. The fact that it was covered in nicotine from a mans den protected it from the light of day keeping the birds bright and in superior condition. The taxidermist that placed the birds in this dome was a true artist placing each bird in a position that is so true to life. The hand blown glass dome measures 28 inches high by 16 inches wide by 10 inches deep.

African Art Suku tribal mask from Andy Warhol

African Art Suku tribal Mask,This African Art Suka tribal mask was in the Andy Warhol collection. The Andy Warhol estate stamp is on its base. This African Suku mask has a small nose with flaring nostrils,open mouth and a carved elephant on its head. This wonderful African Art Suku helmet mask measures 26 inches high by 13 inches wide by 14 inches deep.To see a similar example of another Kuba helmet mask see Christies Tribal catalogue # 8288 November 16, 1995 item # 160 page 59. Just in from a local estate. This mask was part of lot # 1407 sold at Sotheys in New York April 24 to 26 1988.

Antique Austrian porcelain,porcelain busts,Bohemian porcelains,This wonderfully hand painted porcelain bust of a woman is signed R S K Bohemia 1012 made in Austria which we believe to be the Riessner,stelmacher & Kessel Amphora company 1892 to 1905. This antique porcelain bust has a lovely mat glaze and wonderful flesh tones. There are some damage areas that have pieces missing. There are two end pieces at the end of the dress in the back and front and some other small flakes. The detail to this piece is quite wonderful with roses in her hair and on her bust. The fabric detail is excellent. This antique Bohemian or Austrian bust measures 19 inches high and 11 inches wide. The pedestal is 6 inches in diameter.

This porcelain sculpture has a wonderful glaze and has only one slight flake on the mans umbrella.
