- - - - - - - - - - - - | Indian bronze Native American Humphriss Item # 4207 Click HERE to inquire about this item Native American Indian bronze by Charles Henry Humphriss. This Sculpture by "Charles Humphriss" is entitled Appeal to the Great Spirit. Signed on the base.Native American bronze by sculptor C H Humphriss c1950. Gorham Foundry mark impressed as well plus the letter Q which meant bronze. The condition is excellent with the original bronze patina a deep rich color with some glossy areas just where you want to see them, the result of continual dusting and wiping over the years. We had a hard time photographing this piece to show the true depth and color of its patina. We found it was to dark inside and the outside light tends not to show the proper aged look caused from the reflection of the outside light and sky so as nice as the piece looks in the pictures we have provided it is more important looking in person. Measures 31 inches high.
