Antique Bronze Statue Mercury the Messenger circa 1886. measures 39 and one quarter inches high to fingertips and the base is 8 inches square and 4 and three quarter inches high. Full extension approx. 20 inches. F Barbedienne Foundeur, Paris.Wonderful original brown patina.These bronzes were give out at the New York Athletic conference in 1886 to athletes that had won their events three times.

Antique Car mascot,Red Ashay 1929 glass Speed Head mascot from Horsch. Very rare. This mascot along with one more variation was based on Lalique's Victoire at the time. This happens to be the rarest version. Very few serviced. This one is in perfect original as found condition. Just in from an important New England Automobile memorabilia collection. Measures Chrome 5 and one half inches

This antique hand carved wooden fertility icon statue is from either the Baule or Bambara tribe and measures 46 and one half inches high and is 8 inches deep and 7 inches wide. The base of this antique African carved wood sculpture measures approximately 6 and one half inches in diameter. This wonderful piece of African Art retains its dry patina and was brought back from Africa in the 1930's

Antique Nude bronze by Rosa Nessler c1931, this wonderful bronze by artist "Rosa Nessler" was cast by her in 1931 and depicts a shy nude young woman. this piece is a large 19 and three quarters inches high and 15 to 17 inches across. Extremely well executed. This nude bronze has a lovely patina. Just in from an important CT estate.See Who Was Who in American Art page 2403 for more information on the artist. Based in NYC

Antique "American horse weathervane, 1880, of Ethan Allen (ref. page 116) "Art of the Weathervane" by Miller, in old "in use" paint from a horse barn in upstate New York (1/2 mile from Copake NY), rare small size. " It is on a removable base 26-1/2" long and stands 18" high. This piece of American Folk art is made from copper with a zinc head. There is some damage to the tail and denting which is to be expected from period weathervanes. The base was made to hold it for display.
