Contemporary Owl sculpture cast in steel Item # 1452 Artist,"Modern sculpture"Contemporary Owl sculpture. This fine modern contemporary sculpture of a Owl was cast in steel. The superior quality of the casting suggests this "owl sculpture"was sculpted by a master sculptor,artist. The signature on its base is hard to make out but it appears to say Austin. Antique Bronze figure of Dionysus by Sabatino de Angelis Item # 1582 "Antique bronzes" Italian Artist Sabatino de Angelis, de Angelis. de Angelis was a very good bronze foundry in Naples at end of 19th century, beginning of 20th century, like Boschetti in Rome. ( he was 30 years earlier). This antique bronze sculpture, or bronze figure by sculptor Sabatini is signed on base "Sabatino di Angelis Napoli" 1886.
